MESOPOTAMIA LIVE MUSIC & BELLY DANCE
Once again, a sold out full house but this time around, apart from the ten dish delight, (yes ten dish !!) we had the services of Joseph Yazbek on the keyboards along with his drummer and singer who kept us all superbly entertained !!
The food started coming out just after everyone had arrived, and began with a selection of five chilled starters to whet the appetite, these were followed by either three vegetarian or meat and fish main courses, all of which were savoured and enjoyed.
Joseph and his team kept us all tapping our feet while the chocolate fountain and baklava were being demolished, then just as everyone's belts were about to burst, our belly dancer began, showing us all the traditional way to digest such a meal.
Many of our guests got to their feet to dance with her and show the others in the room just how much fun it is!!
To top the evening, four different birthday surprises with small bottles of bubbly given on the house made it a night to remember for everyone.
Our next night is planned for 27 January, but we may well try to squeeze in another before then, watch this space....
